The Arts in Central Pennsylvania

In Central Pennsylvania, you'll find a selection of art offerings as diverse and colorful as the handcrafted quilts that are a staple of the region's culture. And nowhere is this more evident than in the Centre Region, home to Penn State and sixty-two cultural and arts organizations.

Art Exhibits, touring Broadway shows, concerts by world-class performers, and productions by University and community groups are presented year-round. Classes and activities for children and families are available. And each summer, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors for a week-long celebration of the arts.

This Web site will guide you to the many arts organizations throughout the Centre Region and beyond! Whether you're a participant or patron of the arts, you're sure to find something that suits your interests. Or expand your horizons by sampling them all.
